If you take into context the historical precedent and the subtext of what it would mean for Trump to have the power to directly exercise his Federal authority on DC to remove the homeless he will practically be occupying the nation's capital. Yes, he is already occupying it because he's in office, but there's a difference between it's being in charge as by being granted authority, versus being in charge in exerting said authority. Being homeless is just the label, and if one day you're a label The Administration doesn't approve of, then the little marching soldiers take you away to never be seen again
