As a child my parents took me to Paris every spring. As an adult I went with my own family. About 12 years ago it was so depressing I had to stop going.

The Mediterranean coast of France and Italy is one of the best places on the planet, It's only a very small area though and unfortunately it has been inhabited by some very horrible little hairy people with pointy faces for a long time.

You can't beat it. Is there any other place on the world where the sea is warm, somewhat clean, without dangerous wildlife and since it's a sea it has saltwater that keeps you up? I don't think so. If your biggest desire is to wageslave living in proximity to the sea, something is wrong with you.
