The housing market will only crash if you think that the housing market still runs on supply and demand. It does not. That is the whole problem.

Real estate companies don't currently make money by selling homes to people to live in. They make money by selling homes back and forth to OTHER REAL ESTATE COMPANIES. Physical homes are being treated the same was as stocks. They are casino chips in the highest stakes gambling den in the world. They don't WANT people to live in those homes, that would take them out of the game and banks couldn't use them to fiction wealth out of thing air by treating imagined future debt of a theoretical buyer as currency.
