I'm a really big fan of the "American schooling" quip usually peddled by bongs who are blind to reality.
36 of the top 100 universities in the world are American. 22 of the top 50 are American. 8 of those are in the top 10. Research throughput in American universities by far exceeds that of even China which publishes quantity over quality bullshit work as we all know. What ever happened to Europe? Germany from the 17th century all the way to the end of WWII led the planet in innovation and education. Does any German university even rank now? With all of what they allocate to free gibs, why aren't they spending a bunch on research grants?
Can any European actually tell me what the hell is going on? Real discussion only, not interested in muh amerimutt bs
