2 companies working together holding a position.
company commander okayed them to evac wounded
these 10 'volunteers' likely abandoned their position and retreated to the rear with the wounded and you don't need 10 guys to evac 2 wounded, and they probably didn't return.
so they were down a squad on the position and the other company took casualties because they didn't know their flank was exposed,
or something like that.
its a well deserved beating desu
this is why conscript armies are loser armies.
