Kek, I'm in an area where that's actually a viable solution and would solve problems and be cheaper long term but it's """not fit for occupancy""" because it doesn't confirm to today's fake and gay standards, but it's okay for people to live 17+ in a house with mold.
We really do need more log homes, I stayed in one for a few days last week and the ambient temperature kept me warm until it rained and the pressure differential forced all the cozy air out in 0.5 seconds.

Also log homes + oil fired heat means deep cracks and then ugly patch jobs with white crap that makes it look ugly.
Also for the few people who can own log homes the cost to have those built is fucking bonkers compared to regular homes and most of that clientele is rich folks building summer homes.

Government is not a separate special group. It's just dumb humans doing shit to see if you are stupid enough to take whatever shit they come up with to fuck with you. I'm calling bullshit on this story. I live in a rural Whiteopia. I would have to walk like 25 miles ot more to get to the nearest KFC. On my night walk all I see are trees, and woods, and animals... You get the idea. The nearsest anything to me is miles away and it is just a gas station/convenience store. If you're walking past a KFC or any other such thing you're not really living rural.

Rural Ontario. No bus service. Can’t afford a car. Apartment is a town or more away. First lone shift to clean and prep starts at 5 or 6 am …. You think white folks are gonna make the effort?
