All you need is to have a system in which vital stuff like banking, renting, buying a car or taking public transportation requires an ID… and the systems checking these IDs are connected to a database which hold all IDs of all citizens and legal immigrants.

If someone is not in the database, literally you cannot do anything in America then.

No need for ICE then to investigate where illegals are, because illegals cannot really do anything really at all in the country. If you hook up cameras and face recognition (something e.g. the Brits, Chinese and US casinos have been doing for decades), you can essentially identify every single illegal any minute anywhere in the US and get them all deported or self-reported.

Yeah, also massive financial punishment for hiring illegals. But its such a big part of the economy and the stock market that nothing is done to the degree that it makes a difference. occasionally there are performative busts where some illegals are caught but nothing impactful happens
