There was no US of A involved during our last victorious war against Russians. It was a mess, but we won, as always. Point is to make it as less messy for us as possible, not to count on US.
Best solution is to not let war to happen and modern Russia gets military involved only when it perseives it's prey as weak. Despite what they say, "flexing muscles" is exactly how you avoid military conflict with Russian Federation.
Russia attacked exactly where it felt it has some political anchor point: some "Russian" population and/or favorable political force. We don't have Russian population in here, but if we grow political movement that is favorable to Russia, we are exposing ourselves to attack. That's why our political class must remain as anti-Russian as possible.
If that doesn't help, then we will need to kick Russian ass, as we did many times through history. If they nuke Warsaw, we will rebuilt it, just like after 1944, but we must not fall under their pressure.
