The year is 2050.
Ethnic whites now make up 5% of the total UK population.

The UK is now in a state of hyperinflation as the government tries to figure out a way to resolve debt accumulated by the last 50 years of aggressive spending. The pound has now lost 99% of its value while food prices have jumped 250% since 2025.
Ever since the 2020s, the UK has lost its place in the global technology market. Tax rates were tripled at the start of the 2030s and now the UK government is quickly realizing there are not enough taxpayers to fund social programs.
The NHS was scrapped in 2035, where the government deemed it "far too difficult to maintain". Benefits were cut in the 2037 Social Reforms Act. Pensions were cut in the 2033 Budget Deficit Act.
Blasphemy laws against Islam and Judaism were introduced in the 2027 Religious Discrimination Act, and while they were widely contested at the time resulting in numerous deaths due to terrorist attacks (majority of whom were White British victims), reception has become more favorable over time.
The Labour Party has won every election since 2039. Most votes in the last election came from deceased voters.
The internet is now a distant memory for the aging Gen Z population as it was banned in 2040 for "being unsafe for children".
Despite this, crime rates have dropped by 75%. In fact, the mayor of London, Sadiqubu Naseehampetilon, has stated that under his mayorship, London is now a remarkably "safe" place to live. But despite this, critics have called into question the accuracy of these statistics. One fringe journalist wrote "It is clear that the drop in crime rates isn't due to tackling of legitimate crimes, but rather, concealment of them. For instance, numerous homocide investigations were quickly swept under the rug to save on police time, stating death by "natural causes"."
