I see leftism as "leveling" or egalitarianism. The French Revolutionaries remove the monarch because of this imperative. The nobles weren't any better than them. Everyone is equal no one can be better or have a hierarchy that values those things. I actually don't really have a term for "right wing" other than those that are thrown out by the left. Basically just anything that opposes egalitarianism or isn't 100% down with the plan. If you just look at the Western world since the French Revolution you'd see it's extremely and completely radically leftist, imo.
