In Texas you don't register by party.

You only register if you want to vote in the primary, and since primaries are never popular this doesn't matter.
Also if it was "rigged" (I assume you mean gerrymandered) why would the republicans win the popular vote every time? This is the kind of pseudo intellectual bullshit that makes people feel smart. They just see the end result of the "data" and they don't ask any questions about how it is collected or how it is analyzed..
