Also they dont bother training new guys. I worked at a big factory in 2020. They wanted me to operate a machine with around 100 buttons and switches, which had to be done in a specific order, the tubs and foil had to be loaded just right or 6 products per second would be wasted till you figured it out. And there the boss was speaking through a mask while equipment roared at 100+DB, and I'm 6 feet away not seeing shit through my fogged up safety glasses.

Then on the warehouse side:

They didn't coach the newfags on how to plug in the pallet jacks, so 80% of the time id start my shift with 10% battery, and then I was fired because I couldn't move my shit without a working jack. But even when it did work, I could only see if I pulled my mask below my nose, but the overwatch noticed it, and made me wear my mask properly, and then my safety glasses fogged up and it seemed really dangerous and retarded

I've seen this in a less high stakes situation (employee safety-wise) in pharma manufacturing. Bean counter hired by Mr. Goldberg says an activity takes 3 minutes and 17 seconds when rushing through it as fast as possible when there are no issues means you are given 3 minutes and 20 seconds to perform the task with no leeway ever. The only possible outcome is people skipping checks and just recording that they did them.

I thin that's all industry. In the last 10-20 years every company company has been obsessed with maximizing productivity in production, somehow still ignoring useless desk jockeys. They build new factories for 100% capacity and expect that output, giving machines and personella no downtime and soon thereafter they requited 150% performance, requiring very unsafe and quality reducing actions.
