they're not taxis they're supposed to stop at designated stops. I know.. South America + Europe you wave them down and stuff, but in the 'west' so to speak if you try to wave down a bus like in my city for example, in between bustops the busdriver will probably give you the finger.

The bus stops in my area have MULTIPLE different buses on different routes go through them.
The only bus I get on is the 6, but while waiting for the 6, the 1, 6A and 11 come by.
Only the 6 will stop to pick me up because I waved it down.
