Its worst than you think because a good proportion are also working for the state, and most of the money go into useless state employees, they just want to blame somebody.

Governments do not need tax revenue to spend -- they create money every time they spend. Taxes destroy money -- they are a check on inflation. They are not needed for actual revenue, but it is politically useful for governments to pretend otherwise.

Coca-Cola owns Minute Maid and a bunch of other fruit juice products. Banning SNAP from buying cola feels good but welfare people will just switch to fruit juices, which the government says is great for them, even though it's pretty much pure sugar and arguably worse than cola.

It's all free. In case you didn't know. Illegals too. They will bring their old sick parents over here when they need healthcare too. Seriously I'm a doc and I see it often, they realize they have cancer, they're 78 and living in rural Mexico. So they come over here and get emergency medicaid and then get full treatment paid for. Millions of dollars of chemo, radiation, etc. It's fucking insane. "Why does my insurance cost so much?!?!" Because you're paying for dozens of other people's medical care lmao.
