Ukrainians themselves claim it's happening. It's not really a "breakthrough" as we understand it in the sense of tank divisions rolling through open ground and occupying massive swathes of territory, it's large numbers of small infiltration teams of 2 or 3 men each filtering through a highly porous frontline, entrenching themselves in unoccupied fortifications and cutting off a major logistics road.
The reason why it's significant is that there is no prepared defensive line behind this one, only a lot of open terrain not conducive for defense. It also complicates the defense of the cities further to the east (especially Konstantinivka) by forcing the Ukrainians to use a more circuitous path to get supplies to that city.
