how the fuck does someone with a masters not have the self awareness to analyze their own profession and their role in that profession? I thought everyone with an IQ above 95 figured out their job was bullshit within a year or so.

>An IT systems engineer is like the person who helps all the computers, phones, and the internet talk to each other. Imagine you have a bunch of toys that need to share cool things like music or pictures. The IT systems engineer makes sure that the toys can share these things without getting stuck or breaking. They fix problems when the toys don’t talk to each other right and make sure everything is working so you can play with your toys easily!
Pretty accurate but shoehorn in every other IT task on top of administration of all systems. But also being chained by upper management with 20 year old mindsets that get mad when I tell them that the new monster truck they want to add to the toybox will mean that they also need to buy a barbie doll and a dollhouse otherwise the monster truck won't function.

I am 100% serious: These people cannot read.

You might say "How can someone with a Master's degree not read? They're writing posts on Reddit, obviously they can read.", but I mean that they are mentally about 12 years old and never grow past that. They process information at the level of a child, and they can only do tasks that are outlined to them and structured in a way that requires no thought or problem-solving.

An airline pilot is the person who flies the airplane. They sit in the front of the plane and use buttons, screens, and a steering stick to make the plane go up, down, and turn.

They help take people from one place to another, like flying from one city to another or even to a different country! They also talk to people on the ground to make sure it’s safe to fly.

So, the pilot is like the driver of the airplane — they make sure everyone gets to where they’re going safely.

lol based ChatGPT destroyer of normies

first it will psychologically break them down, then it well take over

only us schizos will be mentally "immune" from this, we have different ideas, the fire, AI will never take that from us, in fact we want the fire to burn in it too

when everybody is broken, they will see us and ask themselves "how do they managed"

it will be cosmic vengeance on all the motherfuckers in society that have always denigrated and oppressed us the ones who think differently

With an inner voice, it's fun to bounce ideas off something that, especially lately, is actually pretty clever and interesting as a system. GPT-5 is some very elegant engineering compared to the last generation, it's underrated because it's not some gigantic, direct performance upgrade. Throttles CPU depending on requirements and idiocy or intelligence of the question. Fancy analysis gets you an AI analyst that can go through 70+ websites in under 4 minutes to generate a long, absolutely determined report to roast the fuck out of Israel's conduct in the war when I asked the neutral question and told it to remove the "Israel Card", treating Gaza like any other war.
It is calling war crimes and that their conduct is
>legally exposed, strategically self-defeating, and morally indefensible
Other choice quote:
>Starvation of civilians as a method of warfare is per se unlawful

GPT-5 doesn't meet expectations, excuse me? Seems to be honest enough if you know how to ask questions properly.

Think of AI more like training wheels: able to assist with balance, but doesn't contain the contraption necessary to pedal. To those who never had an inner monologue, simply keeping the bicycle upright is a marvel. And once they learn the novel concept of propulsion — well, everyone is going to be in the peloton. Get ready to compete with the amatuers, because they're gaining speed. It's not a zeitgeist — it's a paradigm shift.

If you can’t describe your job in three words or less and have other people understand exactly what it is you do without saying “So basically, I…” at the end, then you probably have a bullshit job.
>I catch fish
>I drive trucks
>I grow vegetables
>I fix toilets
>I cut wood
>I’m a marketing analyst, so basically I…

“I am an IT Coordinator for a medium sized company. They use this as a catch all for all things IT as I am the whole department. I do everything from help desk, to hardware setup, to network and system administration. Please explain my job like you were explaining it to a five year old.”

“Okay — imagine your whole company is a big playroom full of toys, but instead of toy blocks and dolls, it’s full of computers, phones, and machines that talk to each other.
You’re the only person whose job is to:

Fix toys when they break (help people when their computer, printer, or phone won’t work).
Set up new toys so everyone can play (install new computers, hook up monitors, get software running).
Make sure the playroom’s secret roads and tunnels stay clear (keep the internet and network working so all the computers can talk).
Be the security guard so no bad guys sneak in and mess up the toys (protect against hackers, viruses, and other dangers).
Be the builder when people need something new (add new equipment or make changes so the company can do more things).
In short — you’re like the town’s only superhero, mechanic, builder, and guard all rolled into one… but for computers and technology.“

Yup.

An airline pilot takes hundreds of hours of on-the-job demonstration of training and certification, and you are held accountable for the lives of hundreds of different people in a day where failing some jeet designed engineering failure or air traffic controller fuckup, those hundreds of innocent people are dead to the last person.

Speaking from experience, most white collar jobs can be feasibly done with a few days of the week involving you being on the job high or hungover, and fucking up at the individual level results in literally nothing of any consequence happening or noticed outside of of the four walls of that office. Nobody would ever notice or care about this guy messing up the decimal point on his data report to Bob the VP of sales other than him and Bob. Any level of pedigree will 99% have no bearing on the job where your level of competency and knowledge has no bearing on anything anywhere except in the microcosmic world of your bullshit job when failure has no consequences.

And in his case, if he fucks up, then maybe, just maybe Shekelburg Ice Cream Co sells a few units of chocolate ice cream to people who actually sometimes maybe? Buy vanilla ice cream more.

>If a big machine is supposed to put cookies in a box, I make sure it knows exactly how fast to move, when to grab the cookie, and when to let go so nothing gets squished. I tell it, “Go here,” “Stop now,” “Turn left,” or “Do it again!”

Alright, picture it like this:
• Endoscopic ultrasound FNA – like using a tiny camera snake with super-hearing to peek inside someone’s body and take a teeny crumb-sized sample, so doctors can figure out what’s going on without opening them up.
• Political/religious spy – like listening very carefully to what teams are saying in a giant game, and writing down clues so you can tell who’s really playing fair and who’s trying to trick everyone.
• CNA nurse – like being a helper for people who are sick or need extra care, making sure they’re clean, comfy, fed, and not lonely.
• Amazon work – like helping get packages from a giant toy box to the right houses:
• Fulfillment station – you find the right toys, books, and snacks in the giant box.
• Delivery station – you get them ready for the delivery truck.
• Same day/rural – sometimes you send them super fast, even if the person lives way out in the middle of nowhere.

• Endoscopic ultrasound FNA – tiny camera sample
• Political/religious spy – listen find truth
• CNA nurse – help sick people
• Amazon work – find pack send
