The only exception for me to drink is wine with dinner and thats only cause it tastes better with a food or cheese pairing. And if its red wine it has to be Merlot or Zinfandel and a dry wine. I can't stand sweet wines with sugar in it.

I don't get why people can't just accept that IPAs are supposed to be bitter as fuck, leave them alone, and go back to making all the other ales they used to. I haven't seen anyone make a brown or blonde or red ale in ages. If you want a session beer, just go get a pilsner or witbier, they're specifically brewed to be drunk all day, regardless of weather. Trying to turn everything into a juice when you could just make sangria more often, or go back to making other ciders not made out of apples, is fucking gay.

Also, anyone who dislikes alcohol is jewish, retarded, and unable to control themselves. Fermentation was divined by Whites and is probably the greatest discovery known to man, as it allowed man to turn death back into life. I don't really like it. I went through a phase in my late 20s where I tried to be a drinker. Didn't see the point of drinking if not to get at least buzzed. Beer is kinda gross. Other shit gives me indigestion. Having a few to unwind or socialize is cope. Drinking with chicks to loosen them up or whatever is terrible. I had this drunk bitch that had to drink all night until she wanted to fuck at 3 or 4 am and by that point, I would lose interest in my own drunkenness and not in a whiskey dick kinda way

It used to own me but now I can moderate and just abstain altogether for long periods without thinking about it simply because I do not prefer it.

I started to take NAC because /pol/ anons praised it and all the symptoms I had of liver issues just vanished.
Obviously I've paired it with actually barely getting drunk any longer. It just feels like a shame to drink alcohol during the same days that I take NAC.

When I was in my beer drinking phase of life in my mid 20s I'd drink lager and pilsners but then it started to taste like shit after a while. Got into wine and never looked back. Once you drink quality bourbon or wine you won't go back to shitty beer. The problem is I have a rich taste on a cheap budget having rich alcohol taste when your poor sucks.

When I was drinking every week I'd spend like 40+ dollars on each bottle of wine, id rack up like 200 dollars in wine easily. Id drink a 1.75l of Malbec to myself and still be drunk the next day. It was fun but I had to stop.

After my grandpa got cancer from smoking and drinking alcohol all of his life, then died, I noped out as a teenager, stopped with both, smoking right away and drinking alcohol gradually.
I wish my dad was as perceptive as me, now the faggot has mouth cancer from from doing the same thing as my grandpa.

i've had to cut it out. was drinking 750 of whiskey with a 4 pack of pils everyday for a week or 2 a month. after a year i finally got my body back into decent shape after a surgery.
i drank lat month at my buddy's funderal but stuck to pils and kept a beer/hr. don't really want to go back to drinking like i was.
enrolled in school to occupy my time and keep from drinking.

I go weeks without drinking then just get an itch to slam a bunch, then repeat the process
