Filters and makeups. But also aging signs is subtler to see which makes even crow's feet a very big deal here as only women above the age of 35 gets them. It's always funny seeing foreigners walking with japanese wife/girlfriend and they're usually old as shit.
Most extreme one I saw is 18-19 yo white man walking with a 55 yo girl with heavy makeup.

not as an absolute but as an abstraction, accept the premise of an Enlightened Dictator. Intelligent, sensitive, thoughtful. Pensive. Think early napoleon here. Young Nappy was said to read a gigantic textbook on some subject over the weekend. He took notes and would write a long letter. The leaders he directed liked this ability it was said that he could read the big book and "take the guts out of it". 20 pages, and it was now the clear easy to read concise new textbook on the subject. A renaissance man with unlimited powers, is a dream come true. With the moral integrity to make decisions to benefit everyone not just the elite.

This is where authoritarianism shines. If the right things are being done its the best thing ever. The problem comes when the Authoritarian whether it is a single person or an in-group doesn't matter. They get smug and full of themselves. You get Emperor Napoleon, and he was insufferable.

When authoritarian is embodied by Young Napoleon everyone cheers. You are up against human nature, you will not win this.

The age old problem of any authoritarian society ever : How to keep the society prospering after the benevolent dictator dies? No society has ever solved this conundrum.
