My friend got shot in 2016. I've had plenty of people murdered around me and I never really measure "how close I was" with them in regards to how others think. Truth is there's tonnes of people around me who see my as only a passing acquaintance that would be just as freaked out if I was murdered.

I've had enough "acquaintances" murdered to know society doesn't do jack shit when people are killed in cold blood. Really the only people that murder peiple in cold blood are people with nothing to lose.

Same goes with suicide. They just put the body in the bag and carry on. People are freaked out by it, but there's so much red tape around how society functions that looking for solace is impossible.

People who are murdered are just seen as a statistic, and people who take their lives by their own hand even more so.

A lot of people are gonna have a hard time. I think about my parents, for instance. When they were my age, everybody around them was having kids. Their brothers and sisters, friends, cousins, etc. They were surrounded by new life. But now, nobody is having kids. And everyone is old as fuck. So, going to funerals is gonna be more normal than celebrating someone close to you having a child.

Like for example, there is this new kind of person that appeared in my life. The funeral relative. People that I met at a funeral and I only see them in funerals. And there are a lot of people with Peter Pan syndrome. People in their 30s that love their mothers way too much. You can even see those people on 4chan. Neets and weirdos that say shit like "I will commit suicide when my mother dies"/ "my mother is the only thing keeping my alive". You guys better get used to it. We're gonna be surrounded by death and immigrants.
