Hitler had friends (close friends) before his Vienna days. Forget the guy’s name, but he and H drifted apart prior to WWI, but when Hitler came back to Austria during the Anschluss, they met back up and Hitler and this guy hugged it out like old bros. The guy survived the war and all the shit, and went to his grave saying he will always be Hitler’s bro. It was platonic too - don’t bring that (energy) in here. He talked about how when they were in Vienna together they would try to pick up chicks and the girls always liked Hitler, not him, but he was a true bro about it and was happy for Hitler (Hitler didn’t fornicate though… he really believed in the teachings of the church, at least at that point).
Some more examples - Jewish doctor that cared for Hitler’s stepmother while she died from cancer - he took care of that doctor even as he was fighting the entire world.
One of Hitler’s brothers was kind of a dope - picture fat funny southern German/austrian wearing lederhosen… he set him up with a bar in Berlin where he was just a fun, amiable guy. William Schier even drank there with Hitler’s brother (author of rise and fall of the 3rd reich). Hitler was also close with chauffeur and some other dudes that he helped out, can’t recall names off the top of my head.
