well the problem is that congress has never clearly defined WHAT exactly a foreign or domestic enemy is and WHO they are. which is why we get npc posts like OP implying that trump is a domestic enemy and while we may not like it, we dont really have any legal legs to stand to argue against such an accusation. same thing with treason. pretty sure fauci was accused of treason and yet nothing came of it. we have all these mechanisms and freedom-friendly ideas in place like refreshing the tree, defending against foreign and domestic enemies, right to carry ad so on , but by and large absolutely none of these ideas have any real utility. in many ways these freedom-friendly ideas are merely warm and cozy coping blankets that we snuggle up with on those cold enslaved days
