Trump can't tax anyone outside of the US, he's taxing americans for importing goods, and then those importers are passing that cost over to the end consumer 99% of the time.
The stupidest part of this is that Trump knows this is bad for the average american, that's why he keeps trying to force retailers to "eat the tariff" (His own words) and Josh Hawley or whatever his name is is already talking about bailouts, whatever money Trump makes is coming from the wallets of Americans and is gonna end up paying a bunch of tiny bailouts for the businesses he's killing, spjust like the last time he was president.

Do you not understand that exporters have to lower their pricing to maintain viability in that equation (thus eating part of the tariff cost)? Are you dumb? America does not import out of necessity, something turdies can't grasp, so if you want to maintain that sweet sweet access to the American market you need to play ball and importers aren't going to eat all the cost or be able to pass it on entirely to the consumer.

There's a reason that tariffs have been jacked up 30-50% for many countries but the cost of goods only rose around 2% in July.
