I was 2 years into college when I found out college degree in Belgium is extra 100 euros per month after tax. Basically a netflix subscription, 5 years of college gets you a netflix subscription. Or you can take your kids to mcdonalds once a month.

So I dropped out, watched some youtube videos on how to DIY renovate a house, bought a dump, fixed it up, made 200K in a year. Then I bought another dump, fixed it up again. Retired at 30.

I think a lot of young adults in the West are going to need to go to African countries to start their careers. Companies are downsizing and offshoring jobs and AI is just getting started. And H1B is accelerating. If you’re 22 years old with a college degree, you may have to move to a stable African country to have a career. There’s really nothing for you in the US at this point anymore not even taking into account home prices, the dating market, etc.

I can say the same thing about the banks who issue student loans. They paid money, they took a chance. But the loans they issue are not only dependent on the chance that a borrower will be able to pay them back, but that the government will continue to legitimize the loan. Courts honor loan contracts subject to applicable law. The government therefore has the right to cancel loans by declaring them null and void, if doing so would be more conducive to a healthy society.

I fell for "Learn to code" Got a good job. Jeets bought the company and lit everything on fire. Every white person left after downsizings new job was put out the fires. We couldn't keep up with the fires and I quit. At a perfect time unfortunatly in a tech ressesion where coders have a larger unemployment rate than art history majors. Luckily I saved a bunch and am going back for an MBA with the goal to never hire a jeet, tell jeets what to do, and watch them squirm as they can't keep up with the fires they light.

They do an interview every once in a while and then ghost the candidate just so they have a record of half-ass trying to fill it.
