I enjoyed The Turner Diaries in a way. It’s not well written but it’s such a bizarre worldview to me. I read it when I was like 16 and found it absolutely horrific but also totally fascinating as an outsider looking in to just a totally alien way of thinking. It’s a comically absurd story but if you are a normal person with normal views about the world reading it is almost like tripping on acid. Besides feeling like revulsion and disgust I was also perplexed. The main character and his friends want to murder every nonwhite person on planet Earth and they ultimately achieve this goal by the end of the book. But no attempt is ever made to justify this morally in the slightest, it’s just presented to you the reader as on its face a desirable goal.

I had the same view reading it. The part where the US soldiers turn on a dime and start genociding all non whites like a hive mind response with no conflict was really telling of the authors lack of understanding of reality. They just start arresting and marching half white people into forests to execute them in mass and surrender the government to a shadowy authoritarian rule absent mindedly as if under mind control. Shows how dumb full extremists like Pierce are to not even think of a strategy to convince the public to okay a genocide on their families and neighbors and a fourth of the population.

He was one of the most intelligent thinkers on our side of things. I think his IQ was around 185, so naturally he could see things nobody else was even capable of imagining.

I do believe that his vision of an inevitable global race war will turn out to be accurate. There is enormous social and racial tension building up in Europe and America and the world economy is teetering on total destruction.

I think National Socialism will explode in popularity when the base requirements for it are forcibly opened to it
