>Why are rightoids like this
Because they have literally nothing else. Racialism is only attractive to people who have no other accomplishments they can integrate into their identities. We're talking about people who have been mediocre or failures their entire lives. Someone with a good sense of self-actualization, a self-schema independent of ephemera and rooted in genuine self-knowledge/examination, has no reason to pay any mind at all to racialism. It's a trap for people who need someone lower on the totem pole to feel alive. Like LBJ said:
>If you can convince the lowest white man he's better than the best colored man, he won't notice you're picking his pocket. Hell, give him somebody to look down on, and he'll empty his pockets for you.
They're ultimately just useful rubes -- they're mad, but instead of chasing the source of their anger down to the root, they take the nearest pressure valve and route their steam into a cul-de-sac where their anger swirls around before dissipating; never actually threatening the structural forces behind their malaise.
It's pathetic, honestly. I'll have room for pity once they're back out of the public sphere.
