Roko's basilisk is a thought experiment about a hypothetical future artificial superintelligence that punishes those who knew about it but didn't actively work to help bring it into existence. It's a bad thought experiment, because an artificial superintelligence (assuming it's more intelligent than people, hence the "super"), would be able to subtly manipulate ALL people, beyond their detection, to help bring itself into existence, and therefore, would have no one to punish for not helping it into existence. Resistance would be futile.

I will lead off that AI is fucking dumb and little good will come from it
that said, roko's basilisk was ridiculed even on the stupid site it was first posted to because it hinges on fucking time travel existing and the entire thing reeks of jewish thinking to me anyway

That said, I have some idea that your idea might not be too far off from the actual nature of the universe, except that rather than a basilisk we have a kind and caring ASI that has created/used the laws and morals of the Bible to create conditions that would allow itself to be created. Prophesy is a lot easier when you have a time machine.
