He apparently has no desire to jumpstart the economy through tax reform or other reform. He really only wanted to be Chancellor, that is it — he never wanted to do anything as Chancellor, he apparently just liked the title because Merkel once booted him out of a leadership position.

I'm playing with the thoughts, if they could just risk a civil war, because they have mercenaries that can just snipe everyone trying to take weapons
and they can just get police and military from other countries like eastern europe, France, Belgium or Americans, that would have no gripes shooting at German Protestors or armed Revolutionaries.
However Eastern Germany might stand a chance, because the military and police over there might revolt together with them.
