Illegals steal paperwork and identifications to apply for jobs.
Of course I don't know how many farmers put up job applications. They have to see something is up when dozens of workers only know a few broken English sentences.
Plenty of people loan or sell their DoorDash and Uber accounts to jeets and illegals. Funny enough, women are now pushing for female-only delivery and ride share drivers after being harassed and assault by Kumar and Rajesh.

"farmers" aren't hiring migrant labor. Gigantic agricorps are. Actual independent family farmers have pretty much all moved to crops that allow highly mechanized farming with minimal human labor and rarely hire outside labor at all, and when they do it'll be a local specialist who has machinery or advanced skills that they don't, not some illiterate manual laborers.

Because for once, Trump is favoring the American over the foreigner.

If you're hiring, you can end up with illegals even without trying. I had some windows replaced at my house. I called various companies and got a quote for the windows plus installation. When the crew showed up, one guy spoke a little English and the rest no English at all, surely illegal. But I didn't ask for illegals, and it might have been illegal for me to ask whether the workers were illegal or not. (remember what it was like 10 or 15 years ago.)

So I should not be prosecuted. But the illegal workers should be removed so they don't keep costing us school taxes etc.

What the Data Tells Us
1. Farming-Dependent Counties
In counties where agriculture is the economic backbone—classified by the USDA as having at least 25% of earnings from farming or 16% of jobs in farming—Donald Trump averaged around 77.7% of the vote, winning nearly every one of these counties.
Investigate Midwest

Another source similarly reports that nearly 78% of votes in farming-dependent counties went to Trump during the 2024 election.
AOL
Yahoo

2. Rural Voters
AP VoteCast data shows that among rural voters, 62% voted for Trump and 36% for Harris.
Barn Raiser

A DTN/Progressive Farmer Pulse survey of rural Americans (which includes farmers) found nearly 70% supported Trump, compared to 19% for Harris, 9% undecided, and 2% for RFK Jr.
greatamericancrop.com

An NBC News poll from mid-October 2024 similarly indicated a 75% to 23% lead for Trump over Harris among rural voters.
greatamericancrop.com

Summary
Answer: Based on all available data, American farmers cast far more votes for Donald Trump than for Kamala Harris in the 2024 election.

In areas most reliant on farming, Trump secured close to 78% of the vote.

Among rural and farming communities broadly, survey data shows Trump led by margins ranging from 62% to 75%, compared to much lower support (19–36%) for Harris.

So clearly, Trump received significantly more support from farmers than Harris did.

Nothing is stopping Democrats from arresting the business owners who hire illegals. They hate wealthy people, right? They hate landlords and business owners who are successful, right? So then the most obvious target for Democrats should be business owners who hire and take advantage of illegal workers. Yet they protect them. Why is that?

Let's make a deal, when Republicans are in power they will round up and deport illegal workers, and when Democrats are in power they can arrest and fine business owners who hire illegals. Will you liberals accept that deal?

Yes, economics is a race to the bottom. You finally figured it out!

Nobody is employed unless there's no other cheaper or easier way to get the damned work done. We see instant layoffs in many fields as people are replaced by AI.

All the talk of "principles" is a convenient cover for some other agenda. It's best to assume the pure economic model, which is at least not corrupt.

My dad went to Israel/Palestine (west bank) for work in the late '90s and had to go meet some Bedouins in their camps/settlements, since they were working nearby and didn't want trouble. Apparently the Israeli government pretty much just floods the Bedouins with money to keep them from causing trouble. None of them had any kind of real means of support but they all had newish 4WD SUVs or pickup trucks, nice dirtbikes, big TVs and satellite dishes, etc. My dad also said that they were the stupidest and most ignorant people he's ever encountered in his life, and that's saying a lot considering he's also done projects in rural black areas of Louisiana and Mississippi.

The farmers you speak of, i.e. the "flyover state farmers", all pitch in for machines to harvest and sort their produce. For example, ten of them throw in for a combine harvester and then pass it to the next when they're finished with it. Californian farmers, on the other hand, simply hire disposable pseudo-slave labor because it's cheaper than the machines.

The simple fact is, farmers have power. They own the land. They have a lot of power over Dems and over Reps. Show me a country where the landowners had no power.

And they should have power. The land is the country. It's the natural order.

I think Trump is continuing to deport farmworkers as soon as a sufficient supply of workers on work visas can be arranged. They'll be here on work visas with no pathway to citizenship. I hope they won't be able to bring in their kids because if they do, Trump cannot remove the obligation to educate them. That's in a SCOTUS ruling, Plyler v. Doe.

Instead of just fixing the problem, going after employers, Trump is protecting them. Not just that, but making sure both illegals and employers know they will always be able to connect.
