How does one stop smoking weed

I am 25 and have no hope. couldnt afford college, had crackhead parents, and I got raped a bunch as a kid

Now I work a dead end job, have never even kissed a girl, and basically have no goals or future.

Why shouldnt I keep smoking weed? I know I should quit, but life is so depressing and I cannot see any way it could possibly get better. I am not, and will never be qualified for a good job. My MESNA IQ is 138, but I am retarded and suicidally depressed

At some point you start realizing the highs are lasting 30 minutes, if that. Usually life-long stoners will t-break at this stage, maybe for a couple days to a few weeks. But if you hold out for a month, you'll start feeling clarity again. It's not a high, but it's noticeable. The brain fog will be gone and you'll start having dreams again. Your emotions will get stronger and you'll start feeling pissed off again. At this stage, if you ever reach it, you would do best to work out, eat healthy and try talking to women, but most potheads don't.

I don't know if weed is actually your problem. It probably has more to do with the shit hand you were dealt in life and your fucked up childhood. You could change your station in life, but it would take rewiring your entire thought process and view on life in general. Your attitude is fucked, and reasonably so.

I'd say there are many other things that need to change in your life. Weed probably isn't even the worst one. You just point your finger at weed as the problem, because it's easier than facing the truth.

Do you day smoke? If you smoke the moment you wake up, you have a problem. If you can AT LEAST wait until the day is over you're going to notice improvements and then you can think about next steps. I also suggest making some goals, I know, I know. Is there any line of work you'd like to do? Do you like manual work, computer related work, social related work etc? As for women, I am 5'7" and the only reason I have had sex with multiple women is the gym. Its not a meme. If you stick with it for 2 years the difference is huge.

Also, I smoke too, but I just got done teaching cyber security for $45 and hour, I lift 5 days a week, jog at least 4 days a week, I also teach at a highschool and sell shit on Amazon. I smoke at around 8pm to wind down. Usually people who have problems with weed are smoking 24/7.

I used to be a heavy user, like 50-100mg worth of edibles daily but whenever I would abruptly stop I'd get stomach issues and really bad depressive episodes that border on involuntary hospitalization. It's a shitty thing to be doing to yourself and it's only going to make your situation worse.

Audition for community theater, do a DnD campaign, join a LARP, join martial arts, anything, it can really change your perspective and present you with people and opportunities you dont even realize are there, our brains aren't made to be so atomized and online.

OP has massive issues that aren’t going to be fixed with lifestyle changes. I was in a similar position, I struggled with psychological issues for years that I tried to fix with diet, exercise, forced socialization and abstinence but it just kept mounting and mounting to where I could not be alone with my thoughts for even a minute. I finally said fuck it and got a prescription for buspirone from an online psychiatrist.

Pop, wow, zam I can now live my life without overthinking every single decision and social interaction. Barely any side effects after the first week.

Any chance to train in a trade? Electrician, plumber, welder, anything like that. Here we have trade schools that are affordable and have night classes, specially for workers.
