Also I looked into it, PBS pays approxiamtely $4 billion to the BBC per year to buy programming. And USAID was paying $8 billion to BBC a year too (that's now cut off). So BBC is down $12 billion in hard cold cash this year.

You'd think some consortium of Disney/Warner/Paramount could fund PBS and NPR, then write it off ad a charitable donation.
