israel has exhausted itself trying to capture a piece of land so small you can drive end-to-end in 15 minutes, 4 years later they still havnt captured it. It lost its entire special forces in lebanon and its land invasion got stalled literally just outside the israel-lebanon border, and the only reason it even secured a peace deal was because it used air superiority to bomb the Lebanese cities and level their apartment blocks. then it tried to fight iran and had to beg for peace when it became very clear they were going to lose that war, and only secured a peace because the USA joined.

but if you say its inevitable, who am i to disagree.
