I’ve been testing the Qwant search engine for at least a month, and I kind of love it. No “sponsored” links and ads (at least now), no AI-crawled nonsense, and no Google surveillance. I use a Safari extension that intercepts and redirects my search input to Qwant automatically, even if I type it into Google (which, not gonna lie, has been a years-developed muscle reflex).

What’s also important to me is that it provides good search results in Latvian, whereas DuckDuckGo, for instance, does not handle it well.

Highly recommend giving it a try.
