The European brands are shit now, BMW doesn't even make a rear wheel drive anymore. A VW golf is fucking expensive for a mediocre hatchback, 2 hiluxes are the same price as a house, a land cruiser costs about the same as a lower middle class house. The Chinks are outselling everyone over here.

My works car went in for repairs and I was given a brand new BMW M3 . . .I hated it, so many things wrong, load of crap.

BYD have just started importing here and I would really like to try one out. Like it or not EVs are the future and the Chinese have a pretty good product for the price.

Owed by and built by are different . . .. we have British Cars owned by foreign companies but I wouldn't say they were Indian. Chinese, Russian, etc.

Volvo has always had a reputation for safety but they are quite boring, usually driven in Britain by Architects and Antique dealers.

Volvo's are high performance, usually 5 cylinder. only people who have never driven one think they're boring. Yes they're still good because the Swedes still do everything. I have driven Volos and they ARE boring, funnily enough I drove one just over a year ago and the Parking brake needs a science degree.

Having said that, a few years ago our Police did use the 850 T5 which is pretty high performance but generally they are boring.
