The West already has polygamy

In cities like Birmingham, certain parts of London, or Baltimore and Detroit, the same thing happens over and over, a handful of chads or alpha males sleep with all the women, disappear, and leave entire neighborhoods packed with single mothers. in Latin America, the Caribbean, or parts of Africa, and it's the same story: a few alpha males sleep with all the women, vanish, and the streets fill with fatherless kids. That's western "modern" polygamy.

It fails long term. If you have a society where women massively outnumber men then its a good way to repopulate quickly. I.e. after a war. Otherwise stick with monogamy, its more stable, and incentives more men to participate in society. Sex outside of any kind of marriage leads to the worst cons of polygamy, with non of the benefits. The state steps in to try and provide the security that used to be associated with having a husband. Women then increasingly support the state, men increasingly become disenfranchised and participate less (i.e. only doing as much as they need to provide for themselves). This leaves women to plug gaps in the workforce left by apathetic men. So you now have women working so that other women can work less so that they can raise children. Of course this creates resentment in the working women, who want the deep affection a child shows towards its mother. Then they belittle child raising women and try to push them into the workforce.

its ok polygamy is making a comeback as society continues to slide into feudalism and women realize they have to share and birth children with higher value men with actual property and businesses.

i've noticed in the last year, 3-4 different guys talking about business, getting traction on YT, and lowkey mentioning having multiple wives. I think the Tate brothers, mormon wives tv show, and probably something else in media i'm not clued into, has normalized the idea of polygamy in the algorithm among non-mormons.

Some of these guys are basically trying to set up their own separatist states through breeding
