Post your ideas for Russia's future, /chug/!
1. Prohibit social parasitism; mandate that Russian males contribute to the workforce or military and women contribute to the workforce, military, or marriage.
2. Seize Minkovka, Rusin Yar, Kherson, Bratenitsa, Grabovskoye, Progress, Bobylevka, and surrounding areas.
3. Launch program to rehire civilian professionals with skills that could be useful on the frontline; employ contractors of private companies.
4. Demand, in peace talks, that all oblasts of the Ukraine be permitted to hold referenda subject to joint US-Russia observation on accession to the Russian Federation.
5. Convince US to covertly or overtly sign another mineral deal, this time with Russia, by outbidding the hohols. Then implement THD.
6. Launch a law enforcement campaign intended to mass incarcerate drug users and drug dealers for deployment.
7. Establish All-Russian Patriotic Wargames Union on the basis of the Shooting Union of Russia, creating new sports for recreational WWII tank use etc. and guaranteeing all girls and boys can play the prestigious sport of Sensha-dō by 15 and have the option of joining a Sensha-dō club as early as 12. Ensure that all Russian boys can operate a firearm by 8.
8. Dedicate a day to the Russian victory in the Battle of Paris to commemorate the military glory of the Russian Empire.
Three years and no bets from shills yet!

>I bet you're fucking pissing and shidding your pants, are ya, filthy ziggers? Fear the italian jets and their... uuuuh, interceptor capabilities!
Anyone running the numbers will see that if the F-35 intercepts anything Russian, it is because they allow it.
For instance, the Flankers when they turn on the afterburners, will fly over 900km/h faster than the F-35.
In the case of Russian bombers, like the Tu-22M or Tu-160 they are closer to 400-500km/h faster.

Good luck intercepting that..

The Russian MiG 31 for instance, an actual interceptor, tops out at mach 2.83.
But if it is a priority target the engines are capable of pushing it beyond mach 3 (but it will drastically shorten their lifespan)
It's faster than the Aim9x for instance.

I may out myself as an oldfag now, but i remember when NATO interceptors and fighter jets were fast enough to keep up with Russian bombers.

If an air truce that included drones and missiles were to be instituted some would think that might be unfavourable to Russia because of its usage of them and its newly increase production numbers. Yet ironically Russia would benefit most since it has an artillery and armour advantage over all of NATO, and outnumbers Ukraine.

To be fair, the F35 originated from the joint strike fighter program, it's primary purpose is to hit things on thr ground with interception a distant afterthought.
So it's just a faulty design, it's also part of a faulty strategy in that nobody had the forethought to prepare an interceptor as well. Maybe the F15EX?

Right. Plenty of Ukraine's highest KIA counts come exclusively from drone strikes against stationary targets, so establishing an air truce would literally just provide the Russian forces an even more devastating foothold. The vast majority of the reasons why progress in most section is slow is solely because the air is littered with seagulls shitting grenades and explosives all over the place.

The vast majority of f-35's generally are equipped for nuclear carriage capabilities. It doesn't mean that the country in question might possess them, but they are compatible nonetheless. It's one of the reasons why the Grippen deal fell through here. The cocksuckers who absolutely adored the NATO compatibility and NATO treaties did their absolute best in making sure they got the US jets with almost thrice the price.

>Nothing will come out the Alska summit, Trump is already getting flustered by the reaction of the neocons at home, he'll try to act tough with Putin and blow his chances of getting of Ukraine clean.
Nah.
My bet is that Trump will, on the surface, get everything and more than he asked for.
Land swap (Russia out of Sumy and Kharkov), general ceasefire and elections in Ukraine.
...but there will be nuance.

Land swap is conditioned on Ukraine implementing a 50km deep DMZ along the border with Russia, Russian pullout in the north won't happen before that.
Ukraine will give all of the four regions to Russia in exchange for the above (including parts of Kherson that are on the western side of the Dnepr).
Russian ceasefire will be limited to the troops pulling out of the four regions, and the general ceasefire will be implemented during the general elections of Ukraine.

Ukraine also won't become member of NATO and get no NATO funding or weapon deliveries, or the entire deal breaks apart.

Naturally, this is just a "deal" that will give the US and exit while the EU and Zelensky kill it.

>>512944169
I mean.. we see the corrupt nature of weapon purchases.
Nobody seemed to take a step back and ask what the functions of the air force should be.

You have interception, air policing, A2G (CAS and deep strikes), recon and A2A (air dominance/deterrence and simple "air mobile SAM type missions").
The F-35 could in theory do deep strikes and air dominance better than previous jets, but in reality the Russians can track and engage them from hundreds of km away. This means they are down to kinetic performance as means of self defence, kinetic performance that the F-35 simply doesn't have.

So now NATO are sitting with an air force that can't intercept anything, can't strike anything (without standoff munitions like the legacy jets could also use) and are too expensive to operate. Similar to the Eurofighter in that regard, but without the speed.

Saab is a very reliable manufacturer and as most of the greatly important expertise for most of the planes (in military circles) is just across the gulf, there were literally no downsides to getting planes of that nature. Instead we have a mess of fighter jets where most of the expertise is halfway across the globe, ridiculously prone to US design specs and strict NATO standards without much compromise. In that sense, it's easy to see why F-35's were solely done for political and military industrial brownie points. Finland needed to suck up to the incoming NATO membership, so why not pay yourself sick for having nuclear strike capable fighter jets.

Brazil also have the lead for developing "Sea Gripen", which would be a Gripen with thrust vectoring and more powerful engine.

IIRC all Gripen F (twin seat model) will be made in Brazil, even those that Sweden will operate.
So I think it's a good deal.

Also, you guys are making your own airborne missiles (cruise missiles, anti radiation and anti aircraft missiles).
All of which can be integrated into Gripen by Brazilian technicians.
So we are talking about full tech transfer.

Also, ERIEYE is now an Embraer based system.

A faster jet would do it better unfortunately.

So if we take the F-15 as an example, it can fly ~5000 meters or 15K ft higher (tops out at 65kft instead of 50kft) and 1 mach faster than the F-35.
Even though there will be some kinetic punishment for the external payload, we are still talking about bombs that will be released from 30% higher altitude and 33-67% faster.

In both cases they will be detected and engaged at the same distance by SAMs, but which will do the long drop outside of enemy engagement range better?

Not to mention that the F-15 just mogs the F-35 in terms of range, payload, envelope and sex appeal.
Esp when considering alternatives like the Silent Eagle.

Jihadi Julian is right.
The biggest failure of the West is that they are unable to supply a multi-Million men army.
There are 35 million hohols including diaspora, there are 330 million Americans and 450 million Europeans.
There are over 40 countries supplying their most modern gear, ready to demilitarize themselves for Ukraine.
Not a single hohol has to work, they don't have to build weapons themselves to keep their economy afloat, everything is paid for, all the 35 million can be drafted without exception, none of them is needed for any other task.

There is no logical reason why they don't have a 20 million man army (the size of the Wehrmacht).
The only results they had, were in 2022 when they outnumbered Russians 10:1.
Why can't they supply the goys?

It is obvious that the only thing the West has in comparison to Russia, is quantity, but ridiculous low quality.

There's also the issue of Casus belli. Technically you could make the preparations to start drafting each and every shmuck off the street, but what you're creating isn't a coherent fighting force or state military, but an undisciplined speed bump for the invading army. Doing stuff like this would put Tepes to shame in terms of pointless national suicide and produce quite the huge anti-war sentiment to boot. So as such NATO continues to find a way and try to squeeze in a muffled conflict as much as it can, which makes me nervous about the state of the Finnish Gulf because they're literally taking each and every step to escalate the situation on the waters.

>It's a good idea of Sweden to make simpler planes that country like Brazil or India can assemble themselves.
It is made to be easily maintained, which makes it astonishing that the Swedish air force struggles with it.
(That is a consequence of their IT system and JIT delivery logistics chain)

(Almost) no spares should be stored at the flotilla, all should be ordered when needed.
Unfortunately, spares are not in ready supply in the central logistics hub (which is one Kalibr away from being inoperable), and they can't order a pack.. so every bespoke bolt, nut and o-ring has to be ordered individually.
And they have to be made to order by SAAB, rather than being ordered in larger batches to keep costs down.
So in the end, to save some money, they also save up on backlog orders so they can order more than 1 bespoke bolt at a time... meaning that they take parts from other jets.

But the plane itself its nice.
If only it wasn't operated by complete retards.

This for instance is the most important aspect IMO
>The answer is ‘Split Avionics’. Separating flight critical and mission critical means a less complicated system that allows for easy modifications. Here is how it works at so many levels.
>Gripen avionics system separates 10% of core flight critical management codebase from 90% of tactical management code. This results in avionics that are hardware agnostic, leaving the tactical management to be integrated with new features without the need to re-certify the flight critical software.
>Saab’s Avionic Management System (AMS) for Gripen is the first truly open architecture avionics platform. Conscious decoupling of a list of its elements ensures that individual features are self-contained. The AMS boasts of multiple hardware and software abstraction layers that enable any part of the architecture to be modified or replaced with minimal system impact, which means operators can control the design process and make changes independently from Saab.

Now that you see how your state propaganda lies with causality numbers in Ukraine, do you consider those numbers trustworthy?
When its about a much larger war and an operation that is branded into the Anglo brain and celebrated religiously every year?

Remember that they even claim that they killed more Germans than Germans killed them... while rushing onto a beach like headless chicken.
It's not a secret that they got gunned down on mass and beaches littered with American and British corpses.
It's how Anglos themselves report about it.
The Anglo numbers about D-Day are as valid as the Ukrainian reports about Krinky.

D-Day was useless, not needed and incompetently run.

eastern front battles, all of the are literally incomparable to anything in eastern front, in stalingrad alone more people died from both sides than in entirety of westewrn front
if you want proper equations compare it to something like manchuria and even then it wont be really close anyway cos manchura had prime imperial jap army not volksturm.

You are falling into a lot of the myths of D-day. The beaches and the Atlantic wall wasn't the impregnable fortress that the Germans protrayed it as. It was a thin line of defence meant to hold until the armor arrived. Because of the deception campaigns the armor didn't arrive quick enough to drive them back into the sea. You think opening a second front wasn't important? Then why was Stalin begging for it for years. Yes the soviets would have won even without d day but it would have been a couple more years.

WW2 is the most studied conflict in the world and the d day numbers aren't really debated by anymore.

It feels so schizophrenic too, namely because Stalin never bothered to really rename towns and areas in places like Karelia and Petšenga which had mostly always had names of either the ethnic groups heritage or Finnish names. I can technically understand the obsession with the traditionally Russian cities and other areas of central importance, but you would think they would atleast spend a little time doing a wholesale renaming of all the places into something fitting their regime. Maybe it's just the legacy of a messed up regime in the first place?

While Anglos made it 15km along a little strip on a front with less than 100k involved.

There is rarely any debate about the dday, and how idiotic it was, because the only people who care about it are Anglos.
Here, the dday is barely even a mention when learning about WW2.
And any Eastern European country would shit on its own accomplishments if they consider a 10k-men-rushing-on-a-beach-and-dying relevant in a war of millions.

>the schedule was very optimistic
The schedule assumed that they could move on the Western front similar to the current speed of the Eastern Front, because there is like only 1% of German soldiers involved and those are out of fuel and using horses.

It was not optimistic, it was pessimistic with lots of room to cover for failure.
Did you know that none of the initial parachute assaults during D-Day accomplish even a single one of their goals?
Not because they were gunned down, but because they scattered and their locations chosen badly.
So they had thousands of stranded soldiers individually running around without organization, without knowing where any other of their own people are and not knowing where to go.

Even Anglos in their own history books say that the initial parachute assaults were failures.
I just checked wikipedia and they wrote:
>The assaulting force took three days to block the approaches to Utah, mostly because many troops landed off-target during their drops. Still, German forces were unable to exploit the chaos.
or gems like
>the 3rd Battalion captured Sainte-Mère-Église by 0430 against "negligible opposition" from German artillerymen
You know why "German forces were unable to exploit the chaos"?
Because they weren't there. It's a front that was unmanned.
Yet Anglos got themselves slaughtered for weeks for no reason whatsoever.

But that contradicts the whole
>it was planned well, but behind the optimistic schedule
agenda

It's not really a surprise anymore if you botch the first days because you drop your people into random positions without a plan.
That means that the planing was bad.
The only thing that was correct was the assumption that Germans won't defend much.... Which doesn't require any intelligence if the Eastern Front is moving 250km per day and half of Italy is gone.
