If you really cared about people being too hot, you'd advocate for NS style revival of rural areas with single family houses so that heat disperses easily, not giant buildings full of apartments on both sides of the street.

It's not actually as warm as they claim.
The forecast from the Dutch weather service was 34°C for today. Another service claimed 32°C. I checked its other model, the one recommended for a better temperature gauge (different area size in the averaging equation).
That one claimed 31°C.
It's 30 now.
I guarandamntee that Southern France isn't as warm as the map says, especially when you take valleys/hills and humidity into the equation (they put stations in valleys to manipulate the humidity measurement).

Something I discovered the other day: for year I has assumed that the temperature reading on the entertainment system in my vehicle was from some sensor on the vehicle. Over the last few weeks I took several trips out into the wild areas and spent time in places with spotty/no cell coverage.
The entertainment system would glitch and I’d get the wrong time and the temperature reading changed to something obviously wrong. Very odd.
