Greenhouses use artificially-enhanced microbiomes where CO2 levels are 800-1200ppm (depending on whether people need to harvest or sow, or not) to increase agricultural output.
Plants grow twice as fast with double the CO2 ppm.
This strategy can also be used in reforestation efforts.
If you extrapolate that to say, the Outback or the Sahara, and you use cloud seeding to revitalise the rivers that will show up following this, you can reforest the whole desert and reduce global average temperatures by 3-5°C, because the Sahara and Outback are that fucking huge.
It won't even raise temperatures elsewhere, because plants absorb and metabolise a lot of the sunlight that otherwise is endlessly reflected around and converted into atmospheric heat.
Forests are colder than steppe plains. Much more humid, but also colder, because they convert light into wood, leaves and fruits.
