The original word that they are translating to "forever" or "eternal is Koine Greek word "Aeon". Aeon N E V E R refers to an infinite span of time. There isnt even any OTHER books, unrelated to the bible where it means that. Do you know how long Jonag was in the belly of the whale? No, not 3 days. An "Aeon". But how did he get out if it was forever?? Thats because it NEVER means forever. It ONLY means "for a time". If the Bible wanted to say "forever" it would be "diá pántos".
