What kind of leverage could he possible have in that position? And lifting humans is harder than lifting a perfectly balanced bar in optimal form. She's essentially useless dead weight and he would have to push that fat tub of blubber all the way up and back onto the bed while having his arms, wrists, and hands pinned down completely in a weird position. It's impossible.

No shit if they were in open space they could have simply rolled. But that's not the story here. She was trapped in the tight wedge. There's no way he's lifting dead weight twice his weight slammed down on top of him up like 3-4 feet and to the side where the bed is.
