I don't bond with people unless I have a close intimate physical connection to them. So I will have no feelings for a woman until she has sex with me. After sex I might form a bond with her based on how the sex makes me feel. I'll become addicted to that feeling. But without the sex, I don't feel any kind of connection to women at all. In fact they are mostly annoying and I wish they would shut up and go away. Like women are only good for sex and procreation, that's it. I've never met one who had anything interesting to say that was worth listening to.

So AI girlfriends just don't make any sense to me. I could ask Grok questions all day but I'm never going to fall in love with Grok because Grok doesn't have a tight vagina and big pink tits. Grok isn't producing my babies.

So maybe you all have some insight. Make it make sense to me. I think maybe someday when the AI is attached to a hot robot body, I'll get attached but text doesn't do it for me.

I think people are underestimating the infrastructure required to make AGI happen. You aren't going to make a fully realized robo-waifu using the kind of desktop PC's we can buy off the shelf today. The reason these LLM's parading as AI's are hosted on super-computers, is because it takes a lot of computing power to spit out real time results.

For example, right now I can use FramePack on my desktop hardware, and it will take roughly half an hour to produce 5 seconds of video. And my computer is redlining that whole 30 minutes. I'm not doing gaming in the background, I'm putting my AC on blast and hoping the laptop doesn't overheat and reboot while crunching the numbers.

The systems we'll be interacting with in the cloud that have reasonable AGI will be on hardware that costs millions.

I attempted to use GPT 3 (I think, maybe 4) for some cheap psycho-therapy, but I found it to be very non-compliant, and almost useless. It seems hard coded that if you say certain things, it has to default to a statement about seeking professional medical advice from a trained professional. The stupid thing completely misses the point. Therapists are all jewish women and the last thing a Western man needs to improve his mental health, is to listen to a jewish woman spout made up nonsense that only helps females.

I probably could jailbreak it by establishing the whole thing as a creative writing exercise about characters who are not me, and not real, therefore it wouldn't trigger the hard-coded and insistent demand to go pay jewish women to give me bad advice. I learned a long time ago that the whole industry is a scam to push big-pharma drugs. I don't need a drug dealer, I need wise fatherly advice, from a non-jewish man. The whole therapy field is so dripping with estrogen and weakness it makes me want to puke. Like I'd ever listen to some woman about anything. Get real.

a 4090 is basically a super computer from early 2000s (on FP32), it's totally possible to have AGI-like running locally in like 30 years from now.

Yeah man, by 2055, I have no doubt. I think the estimates are actually like 2040's for the technological singularity. So most of my contemplations about the future of these technologies, don't extend 30 years. I'm thinking 5 years out. 10 years out maybe. It's a real gamble to try to predict events 15 years out. Stuff can change in big ways in 15 years. But a 5 year window I can be more confident about. I don't think we'll see AGI in 5 years. At least not for us regular people. Maybe in military bases and college campuses and in silicon valley in big datacenters, but not for us personally. Not soon.
