As for cats, well, uh, ok, those are useless. Their incompetence at pest control has been proven multiple times. My ancestors created small terriers specifically to accomplish what cats have never done in 10,000 years. Cats subsist off pest infestations rather than removing or "controlling" them.

They are not a substitute for children. They are a constant, children or not. We have them without children. We have them with children. Feeding a dog is $100/mo and if you dont adopt a wreck and treat it like shit vet bills are a rarity. I have spent less than $500 on the vet over the past 2 years.
