Islam is very close to truth, their problem is the whole muhammad thing. A break away cult from the very first christians, fled due to their belief that the jesus that was killed was a look a like, and the jesus they saw after the tomb was found cleared was the real jesus, who went into hiding afterwards. Muhammad, 500 years later interacted with that break away cult who taught him original christian beliefs. Not unlike most successful generals or warlords, muhammad utilized this power of belief to unify his people to conquer back lands they felt were theirs. Christcucks and jews, will say this is why muhammad is not a prophet. Step outside all of it though, and see all religion is used the same way, and if a religion doesnt serve the purpose of conquest, a new belief system is constructed in its place. However, in regards to truth, some of the problems with muhammad was he (like all prophets) are only human. As part of his miracle to prove leadership, he had to demonstrate he was an illiterate, too dumb to possible ever read a book to know the bible, then miraculously recite the bible. Obviously this causes a lot of paraphrasing, so several details in his recital were off. For example, king solomon is considered a wise and noble king to jews and christians, while to muslims he is thought to be a prophet. This detail greatly distorts the qualifications of a prophet to many muslims. Who many will see a successful man that prayed to God for wealth, having been given it, qualifies him as divine. This broadening of prophetic definitions allows an illiterate learning to read or recite a book as a miracle to muslims. Despite the obviously paraphrasing inaccuracies, the christians on the other hand have largely distorted their own works. Not saying all christians, but there is a majority of secs that have deviated much farther from origins then practicing muslims (despite starting from a more inaccurate account).
