All of the “experts” predicted that Trump’s tariffs would increase prices, yet still nothing. Are we ever going to see any negative impact, or was Trump correct all along?

Yeah you’re a dumb nigger. I stopped shopping completely because the price increases have been absolutely fucking hilarious. Even Amazon has gotten out of control.

There's no reason to think it would add more to prices than VAT for instance.

We don't have a VAT. If your nanny state slaps on a new 30% VAT prices will also rise.

Translation? The federalreserve has a SERIOUS inflation problem on its hands - "Supercore" CPI is Fed's preferred inflation measure, and it skyrocketed higher on a MoM basis, and crushed the estimations.

PUBLIC SERVICE ANNOUNCEMENT
There is no consensus among even Jewish Economists as to which parties to international trade bear which percentage of the burden of a tariff. Whether it is the consumer, the importer or the exporter is unknown. The problem in aggregate is too complex (not scientifically, but socially) and has not been analyzed in a proper way in terms of statistical sampling theory.
Assume anyone who is saying that it's absolutely one of these three parties that pays the tariff is a partisan hack shilling retard asshole (likely a pajeet too).

all inflation data is garbage:
https://www.shadowstats.com/alternate_data/inflation-charts
>t. i have an econ degree
low info anons should check out the link i gave. the definition of inflation has changed many times since the 80s in order to minimize it. the govt's data cannot be trusted one iota, sadly.
