We have 6-12 cases, but 20% our words have irregular declension, so you can just forget about cases lol, you need to learn them all.
I cannot find anything about irregular declensions of nouns in hungarian, so maybe in that manner hungarian may be more easier than russian. But anyway finno ugoric languages are interesting thing i guess.

Hungarian grammar is actual very logical and easy. It's just extremely different from Indo-European grammar so in the first weeks you will be like looking at a literal alien language. But after you re-learn the basics of human language (takes just a couple of weeks) it's as easy as English.
