That's the point, don't you get it? Russia & US will be able to freely nuke each other in the arctic without having to worry too much about mass casualties & infrastructural damage.

It won't be Russia, it will be China.
They just have to crash two tugboats and two seacans with 20 dudes each and MANPADS and they have complete air supremacy,
I've been up north around the area, the tuktoyuktuk area is a good landing zone, and the caribou herds all go to one area and have predictable moving patterns, this eliminates food logistics.
When they come, they aren't leaving.
Scary when you look around the world and see how it could happen.
