because the cost of paying someone else to do it is so low
I make in a month what mechanics make in a year.
I drop it off, they get dirty, breathe in the fumes, splash the chemicals on their skin, figure out the issues, spend hours fixing my vehicle, all for what I make in half an hour of sitting at a desk pretending to do work but really just watching videos.
