What religion was employed by your culture/ancestors before an Abrahamic one replaced it?
I am legit curious if anyone has kept track of this
If you are Hindu or Buddhist or whatever, then I guess kudos for keeping up with that

Disclaimer: I am not against Abrahamic religions in the slightest, I am just bored and curious. I don’t actually believe in any religion so I’m not going to judge regardless of what you practice

Yes, you don’t need to repeat what I said like a religious chant

It is said that Abraham worshipped the sun and the moon (his father was an idol zealot or something) before Jehovah revealed himself to him, or whatever.
So the answer is the stars.

Everyone I've ever met besides monks who said they were Buddhist or Hindu just used it as an excuse to live and behave however they want while claiming to be spiritual and wouldn't be able to tell anyone the first thing about spiritual life.

That makes sense. If you got 100 Hindus in a room, they would give you 100 convenient and wildly different interpretations based on what their needs and geographical heritage is based on

The bible is almost entirely taking concepts from gilgemesh and mesopotemian faiths, helenism, and minor local beliefs.

Polytheism / paganism.
Most of the planet practiced this in some form before the abrahamic ones replaced them.
The concept of one god to rule them all comes from Judaism and later Christianity and Islam.

Christianity is Greek philosophy with a messianic Judaism outer shell. Everything in Christianity that resonates with white people is from Greek philosophy; everything weird and alien is from Judaism.

Some of my ancestors were Celtic, some were Germanic, some Roman, and some Slavic so those respective polytheistic religions. But the majority of my ancestors, I don't really know, I'm pretty sure Christianity is at least 600 years older than Judaism. Serpent cult stuff maybe? Tengrism? Babylonian polytheism? Greek polytheism? Maybe it was just Moloch/Baal worship.

Political land borders didn't exist thousands of years ago, the religion of native central and northern Europeans was Germanic paganism specifically. Before that? Probably nature worship of some sort.

It was mix of ancestor worship, animism and shamanism with strong steppe influnces. Shamans played a key role in it and they werent simply wisemen/clergy, but were chosen by uniqe birth trait - had 11 fingers or were albinos etc.

Can't possibly know. Pretty sure I'm mostly celtic, but even if I had my ethnicity pinned down, knowledge of whatever their religion is would have to have survived centuries of jewish suppression and erasure. There's no way.

Believe it or not, but there is not a single verse in the entire Bible that specifically calls the Jews or the tribe of Judah God’s chosen people. This misconception comes from the fact that the Jews of today have declared themselves to be Israel and not the house of Judah, as the Scriptures rightfully call them.

before christianity everyone were slaves except for the rulers. you basically would be a slave. this is why europeans (and people from other continents later) choose christianity. they wanted rights, be free, etc.

also christianity is right based off plato and aristotles ethics. ancient greek philosophy is way superior and better than any pagan retardedness, which is basically being a nigger.
