People smoked weed back in the day too, alcohol was just more common and you hear plenty of stories of alcohol wrecking people's lives and making them do stupid shit, not very many about people smoking weed and doing the same. Alcohol is a stupid persons drug, drugs like marijuana and psychedelics are for white people who enjoy thinking in new or different ways and requires some control of your own mind if your IQ is not so low that you basically have no mind to need to control, like the stereotypical stoner types. If you know someone smokes weed and they aren't your friend, they are probably dumb.
