At every opportunity they chose a government that seeks violence against their stronger neighbor.
Hamas attacked Israel, unprovoked, during a ceasefire, and deliberately targeted civillians.
There is literally nothing that Israel could do in retaliation that would not be morally justified.
This includes full ethnic cleansing and resettlement of the conquered areas, something the Palestinians have been actively seeking to do to the Israelis, and what people jave done in war for millenia.
You aren't even actually bothered by this concept.
Islam explicitly embraces the idea of conquest and commands all Muslims to violently conquer all non-muslims.
The only reason you even pretend to be outraged is because you know genocide is frowned upon by western moral standards, and you hope to leverage this fact against us despite disagreeing with it yourself.
You can't simultaneously call for the ethnic cleansing of one group and then complain about the ethnic cleansing of another.
