Kek that's nothing.
Here in Sydney earlier this year we had ongoing train strikes sometimes completely cancelling service sometimes just heavily limiting service.
Our suburban rail network is massive and is the primary form of public transport in the city. Literally hundreds kf thousands of people had wait time at their station of between one and two hours, and this was an ongoing issue for months.
All because train drivers wanted a salary increase from the $120k range to the $150k range (the median fulltime income in Aus is $90k).
Public transport is a fucking joke. People honestly believe that moving towards more public transport use is 'progress'. It is so obviously a step backwards in terms of quality of life.
But of course you can't keep packing hundrends of thousands of new Indians into your cities every year and continue to have everyone use a car to get to work. Roads would be too congested and there would be nowhere to park.
'Progress' lmao.
